This policy explains how GabaCool Games processes personal data when you visit gabacool.games or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2016/679) and the Finnish Data Protection Act (tietosuojalaki 1050/2018).

We have not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer, as our processing does not meet the thresholds in Article 37 GDPR. Privacy questions can be sent to the address above.

What data we process

This is a static informational website. We keep data collection to a minimum.

  • Contact data. If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if given) and the content of your message.
  • Technical/server data. When the site is loaded, standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver the page and maintain security.

Purposes and legal bases

Personal data may be processed on our behalf by service providers acting as data processors, including our website host [hosting provider, e.g. GitHub Pages] and our email provider [email provider]. We do not sell personal data. Where a provider transfers data outside the EU/EEA, that transfer is protected by an adequacy decision or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to handle your matter and to meet any legal record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted. Server logs held by our host are retained according to that provider's policy.
